Hello, 

and welcome to my web page at Tgruetzmann.de. I am delighted to welcome you here and trust that you will be able to learn more about me as you surf through the following sides. 

To start of your experience at TGruetzmann.de I would like to introduce myself: 

My full name is Tom Philipp Klaus Gruetzmann and I am 25 years of age. I was born in Frankfurt am Main in Germany and lived the first 20 years of my life in Heusenstamm a town with barely 20,000 inhabitants.

In Heusenstamm I went through primary and secondary school up to the 10th grade when I transferred to a technical High School in Offenbach Am Main. There I finished my High School degree with the majors in Chemistry, Engineering, English and Social Studies. 

After my high school education I was called upon by the German state to serve in the mandatory military service for one year. In the first two month of my military experience I was stationed in Rotenburg where I underwent two month of boot camp. After this I was stationed in Mainz at the Strategic Command Support Division where I worked for a seargent major at three reserve battalions. 

During my military service I already decided to move to the US to continue my education and so I left Germany on August 28th 1999 to head for Coos Bay, Oregon to get a college degree from the Southwestern Oregon C.C. This college, even so it was in a very small town gave me one of the grates experiences of my life. The extraordinarily motivated professors who were only interest to bring their topic of expertise closer to their students, and who did not shy away from personal contact to their students. The magnificent leadership opportunities this college offered. And of course the lifelong friends I made from all over the globe. 

After I received my college degree in general education and business studied I decided to continue my education at one of the most prestigious and research driven Universities worldwide, McGill. Considered to be one of the top five institutions in the World, this University showed me very research driven side of academia. At McGill I continued my studies in the field of business and specialized in Marketing, Strategic Management, (Upper Management Strategy) and Business Psychology.

Part of my studies at McGill University was an internship at Invidex one of the surviving dotcom businesses that is in the business of video transmission services through back office automation. There I worked in the Marketing and in the Sales department where I mainly worked on direct marketing campaigns.

After my internship with Invidex I started an exchange year at HKUST the number one rated business school in Asia. Here I did two semesters of studies in my three majors.
